General accident care refers to injuries caused by accidents that might not need hospital-level care, and where The Fono will be your first point of contact.
How we help
We can assist with all kinds of general accident care. Our doctors provide treatment and support with ACC claims for minor injuries, from sprained joints playing sports to strained backs caused by heavy lifting. Our highly-skilled nurses can help with changing dressings and minor stitching.
Please note: The Fono is not an A & E. If there is an accident requiring urgent attention, we strongly advise that you go straight to the closest hospital or A&E.
